Not sure if it's a good thing .. but I have official turn it down because it doesn't match my long term goal ... I understand that there are still a lot of unknown in the future ... but not able to promise me there is potential growth on the ladder is not what I'm working for .... sorry .... just because I have "did that, done that" and I think it's time for me to move on to the next stage ... I don't want to look back later and found out that it's actually a step back in time ....

Home Alone X
Never would have thought I would go through this ... but I did .. and I don't know how I did it ...
It just feels like the movie ... but very thankful for the quick responses ...

I just can't ask for more when I'm safe and only minor damages ...
I learnt a little more about myself through this incident ... it shows that I'm really a true independent girl ... strong enough to get through good and bad times by myself ...

My Fusion Kitchen
Due to family matters, I only have limited time to cook during my "break" this year.
With lots of "observation" through FO, here are some of the dishes that I have mastered.

Haunted Theme Park
聽了很多人說海洋公園每年的哈囉喂都很好玩。 適逢有朋友去年去過Great America的Great America Haunt都好評如潮,所以決定今年去試試看。
它們有6個mazes加1個 "Haunted Ride"。 最好玩的是CarnEvil和今年新加的Toy Story。 CarnEvil材用了"Carnival"主題。 內有很多在Carnival會出現的主角。 最精彩的是它門的3D效果真的令你很難分辨那些是死物,那些是生物。 Toy Story明顯是玩具主題。它們用燈光效果令那些人扮的玩具好像死物地在動。後尾你還要在擠過很窄很黑的空間才可以去到出口。那真的是很恐怖,因為你真的只想快點離開那密室。
全個park都是漆黑一片和煙霧瀰漫。真的很難分辨那些是遊客,那些是"Zombie"。 所以在園內穿梭時真的很多時都是自己嚇自己。 不過被那些"Zombie"嚇是真的不要有太大反應(例如尖叫或逃跑),因為他們最喜歡纏上那些膽小鬼。

反老玩童 - 宮崎駿
多謝Ms. S告知在UC Berkeley的宮崎駿座談會。 我們這些「舊生」買了「學生票」,希望可以「瞞天過海」。 雖然入場時要出示「學生証」,聰明的我還巧妙地用手指遮掩著印在証件上的簽發日期希望不會被發現我的真正身份。 好彩都是「有驚無險」地入場。 最妙的是Mr. A只出示了他的Tang Center卡加Driver's License 就可入場。 真是令人嘩言。
座談會中談給宮崎駿的作品給他的創作靈感。不難發現他真的是現實版的「周伯通」。 他的「童心」真的是很有趣。
會後我們還在校園走一圈。發現很多新建的校舍。舊的校舍也翻新了。感覺真的很不同。
然後我們去了我想試了很久的Cassrole House吃飯。

My Seoul Kitchen
I have decided to have a change on my annual "diet". This time, I'm actually going to cook something small. Continue from Samgyeopsal experience, I have started my "Seoul Kitchen" journey. So far, I have successfully made Dwaejigogi Kimchijjigae, Dubu Doenjangjjigae, and Kimchi Bokkeumbap.
BTW, seasoned seaweed + Kimchi Bokkeumbap is the best thing on earth.

My "Samgyeopsal" Party
Just had a crave for Samgyeopsal lately with the cold weather. Although it's a lot of hassle to have Samgyeopsal at home, since the pork "produces" lots of oils and the smell of grill filled the house, etc. But it's still so much cheaper than eating out. Most restaurant requires at least 2 orders when you are cooking at your own table.
When I went to the supermarket today, they almost ran out of meat at the counter. All the ajummas got them before I got there. I ended up getting a pack of "whole pork belly". I was thinking, what the hack, I'll cut it myself. I would never knew that I would find this "hidden treasure" from the pack.
I didn't know what to do with that 2 "things". It felt so disgusting to touch that side of the meat when I was cutting and slicing it. I ended up removing the skin on that side of the meat, partly because of that, but mostly it's because of the fat.
The feast .... delicious .... I have made the best sauce ever (thank you wiki for confirming the ingredients)
