複雜的人際關係

這兩天不停在檢討我的人際關係技巧，自問已經量為人圓滑點，但又不此於為人虛偽。真的不知道為什麼會讓人覺得我在"利用別人"。自問我真的不是一個會不時對人噓寒問暖的人。可以說我是比較自我中心，但不此於會在別人身上拿"著數"然後就把那人"拒於門外"的人(除非我覺得那人不值得我再為他/她去花心思去做任何事)。可能我覺得在那時不識合做某一些事，所以我選擇在那時不作任何反應或表示。自問在後期也量配合那人的學集能力。 那也不表示我不尊重或藐視任何一人。 我選擇不參與某一些那人提意的活動，並不代表我不喜歡和那人"打交道"。只因為大家熱愛的東西大有不同。如果是一group人去的話，如時間許可，無意外我也會參與的。但如果只有少量人參與，那我一定會選擇不出席。全因為我會覺得我去了也不會有很大return of happiness。基於supply and demand學來說，我覺得我得不到最大的回報，所以我選擇放棄。那也是錯嗎？那也是不尊重或藐視人嗎？

被別人誤會真的覺得很委屈。覺得連帶我的父母也給別人"打了一巴"，因為我的父母沒有好好教導我做人處事之導所以才促成今天的我。 但要做的我也已經做了。解不開那人的心結我也沒辦法。看來真的要開始在EQ上自我增值了。

PS:請不要自己"對號入座"。那人絕對不是你!

Got IT!!!

Yeah!!! I got the role All those prediction of the year are really TRUE. At the beginning of the year, I thought it won't happened because I just got one last year (according to chinese year). Although I have confident ever since I applied for the role, but you'll never know what others think. I can't wait to transition to my new role so I don't have to do the day to day boring work!!!!

Just Tired

My day didn't start out right at all. First off, the stupid meeting in the morning. As usual, more work dumped on our side with such a short notice. So, carrying on the stress and I worked without a break, even forgotten about bidding on the ebay item in the afternoon. People, wait for "new" era to come .. hahhahaa

I was too lazy and decided to cook all the veggies at once and mix them up with rice and eat them as "BiBimBap" at a later day. It took me 3 hours just to make them.

早兩日經Laneige Counter看見本Fall Catalog。 要不是自己多手拿來看，就不會做成今日的後果。終於明白為什麼要找靚女做代言人。因為真的可以勾起人的購買慾。

Think too much

I'm being a typical Gemini again. My mind is filled with different situations and I'm mentally preparing myself for them. I'm going this emotional thrill for something I don't even have control over yet. Another word, I'm just "stress out" for nothing. I have been keeping myself busy these past couple days and hoping that I can "clear" my mind. Am I scare that I won't succeed? I'm guessing I'm. But it's something that one has to learn and let fate takes the course.

Sorry, just let me get these out of my chest for now. They are adding too many "drama" on top of my emotion.

My Seoul Kitchen

I have decided to have a change on my annual "diet". This time, I'm actually going to cook something small. Continue from Samgyeopsal experience, I have started my "Seoul Kitchen" journey. So far, I have successfully made Dwaejigogi Kimchijjigae, Dubu Doenjangjjigae, and Kimchi Bokkeumbap.




BTW, seasoned seaweed + Kimchi Bokkeumbap is the best thing on earth.

I like the the teaser more because the whole story line of the MV is "not so clear" ... the teaser hightlights all the important part and that's enough ...

My prediction: Things will heat up between the two, Mr Boss knows about the cheating, he got killed at the end ...

My "Samgyeopsal" Party

Just had a crave for Samgyeopsal lately with the cold weather. Although it's a lot of hassle to have Samgyeopsal at home, since the pork "produces" lots of oils and the smell of grill filled the house, etc. But it's still so much cheaper than eating out. Most restaurant requires at least 2 orders when you are cooking at your own table.

When I went to the supermarket today, they almost ran out of meat at the counter. All the ajummas got them before I got there. I ended up getting a pack of "whole pork belly". I was thinking, what the hack, I'll cut it myself. I would never knew that I would find this "hidden treasure" from the pack.



I didn't know what to do with that 2 "things". It felt so disgusting to touch that side of the meat when I was cutting and slicing it. I ended up removing the skin on that side of the meat, partly because of that, but mostly it's because of the fat.

The feast .... delicious .... I have made the best sauce ever (thank you wiki for confirming the ingredients)

之前因為架車無車牌，再加上個fastrak又過唔度； 所以有好幾次都係「免費」！

イタズラなKiss

Finally get to know the "official" ending on イタズラなKiss(Itazura Na Kiss). The comic ended with on a "hanging" note 15 years ago due to the author passed away before completing the story. Fortunately, she told her husband about her plans on the ending and we were able to see that in the animated version. It was able to provide a "comfort" to all the fans out there. Kotomi is so cute, fighting with Mommy for Daddy's attention. Can't wait to see the Taiwanese SP version with our lovely Mr & Mrs. Jing

星期天

做了八個多月台劇迷終於宣告要「唞一唞」。 至去年１２月起的每個星期天都會鎖在youtube前看最新鮮出爐的劇集。 從“美味關系”，到“惡作劇２吻”，到“命中注定我爱你”，再到“蜂蜜幸運草” 。 除了“惡作劇２吻”是真的有計劃要看外，其他都是「吾打吾撞」下開始的。 看“美味”全因維尼導演。看“命中”全因好奇。看“蜂蜜幸運草”全因那個日本漫畫。

剛好我的新愛“우리 결혼했어요”都是在星期天播放。現在又轉移目標到韓流去(見鬼，竟然愛上韓國的reality show。 誰叫我每天都在看DTV的MBC America!)。 期待喬妹＆三石的“그들이 사는 세상”(10月27日首播喔！！)

看來要等到“我的億萬麵包”才會再看台劇了。(聞說也是在11月播喔)

Don't know why 우리 결혼했어요(We Got Married) is so addicting since it's just "fake" couple acting like they are married. Maybe it's because Alex and Shin Ae are just one of those "dream couple". Who will not melt for Alex in that show, especially when he sang "화분" (by Loveholic) in front of Shin Ae and asked for her to wait for him because he was leaving the show for a short while.

First Friend

Just got in touched with one of my Elementary/Jr. High school classmate on Facebook recently, and found out that one of our friend passed away 8 years ago. This is really shocking news to me. She was one of "first friend" that I made when I came over to the state. We lost contact since high school because I moved to another town. The time that we have spent together will always be in my memory.

Hope she is doing well in another world and my "belated" condolence to the family.

Saw the Men's and Woman's 4 x 100m Relay last night on TV. Both US teams just dropped the baton and disqualified themselves in the race. I'm sure the runners are going to blame the weather at the end. This will be their VOs :

Bug Killer

I'm refusing to drive my car as much now. Besides the high gas price and high mileage, I also don't want to be labeled as a "Bug Killer". There were tons of dead bugs just stuck on my bumper every time. As a result, I have to clean up the bumper every time after I drove. Although it's fun to drive, but it's a pain to clean up the mass afterward.

剛看了京奧2008開幕禮。真的是歎為觀止。那些人海戰術真的是一絕。 那麼多的環節中，沒一個表現者是重複表現的。 真的不能看少中國的地大脈搏，億萬人口。

我最喜愛的環節一定是那個"中國的活字印刷術"。 那些"活字"全是人手控制的。 但那些動態和時間掌握極似是全電腦控制。

完場是那些煙火也是很精彩。 環繞那個奧運城的可天空全是五彩繽紛的煙火。 真的是"燒錢"，加"空氣污染"。

現在的我正在計劃我的"北京2009之旅"。希望我那時可在"水立方"和那個我認為不太美觀的"鳥巢"前留先倩影!

「蜜樸 」加「愛扑」

家裡的其中一部desktop又壞了。 那部機不知壞了多少次了。每一次都要reinstall windows, driver, software 等等。 經過深思熟慮後，覺得還是換一部「蜜樸」比較好。因為那用家是“電腦剎手“，換了「蜜樸」起碼不用擔心中毒的問題。 發覺最近我都是用金錢來買“耳根清凈“。 我真的那麼有錢嗎 ？

再加上發現買「蜜樸」“送“ 「愛扑他住」那個超級deal，令我難以抗拒。 那個「愛扑他住」將會長駐於我的新寵內，要不然那個adapter就白買了。

我終於成為擁有「愛扑」之人。 真的很感謝史堤芬工作多先生。

新寵亮相

等待了49 天，終於可以和我的新寵相見了。當初還很害怕藍配紅會很“怪“，當真正見時才稍為安心一點。 因為這個配搭真的很突出。 那紅色又不是太"搶"，反而可以帶出那個藍色的特色。 講個小秘密你知，令我會看上那種藍色其實全因為一個廣告。 在那廣告中，那輛藍色的z4在馬路上飛弛時，真的是"型爆"。 全因那因素，才另我考慮那麼突出的顏色。 要不然，我想我會選擇帶湖水藍色的銀色或湖水綠色。

當初order時很多sales都對我的選擇很驚訝，但是他們都對出來的效果讚嘆不已。 真的要多謝Mr. N對紅色interior的大力推動! 雖然目前應該只有我這一輛那麼"特別的配搭"，不過我相信將來一定會見到其他的。

現在的我不可像那時一樣了。 要時不時打蠟來保護外色，還要替那內皮革。我相信我的weekend將會在洗車中度過。

24小時內，她的行車里數由7哩升至150哩。我想我好像太過享受那ultimate driving machine。 真的要節制一點才可。

煙火大會

昨天被朋友拉了去看國慶日煙火。很久也沒在現場看了。 想不到這一次的觀後感像看了一場3D IMAX一樣。 那煙火就像在你面前引爆一樣。 現場的小朋友不斷在叫"shoot the helicopter", "air pollution", "grand finally"。 真的很好笑。 如果少了一點小朋友的“雜聲“，多了一點“背景音樂“助興，那就會完美一點了。

再見了，戰友

我和十一年來並肩作戰的戰友在今天分開了！ 是不捨，但也要去面對。 希望它的新主人會善待它吧。 要不是有其他的雜費，今天的我也不捨得把它賣掉。 想起十一年來大家一起走過的日子，真的是“酸酸甜甜“的。 喜歡與它的一起衝馳的感覺，但同時也討厭它的"小毛病"。 最後一次與它走過彎彎曲曲的山路是，真是百感交集。 我會把這點感覺默默記下的。 說回來，知道可能以後在某地區可能和它會有一面之緣，總好過把它當廢鐵賣掉的好。 起馬心靈上有一點安慰。

我竟然在回家的途中看見有兩個它向著我迎面而來(其中一個還是紅色的)，難度上天真的認為我的難過還不夠嗎？ 真的要這麼衝著我而來嗎？ 真的要這樣"腰心腰肺"嗎？

Bend it like Beckham

This is the first time seeing a live soccer game. Ever since David Beckham has signed up with LA Galaxy, my friend has been asking if we should go to LA to watch the game. We are not a big fans of his, but we consider that as our chance to see some "real" soccer (as most US players are not as good).

We found that LA Galaxy is going to play against our local team, San Jose Earthquakes in June. We decided to get the tickets from KFC Promotion as regular price ticket is a bit expensive. BTW, we got the largest crowd of SJE history, I bet half of the crowd are Beckham fans.

We got there early enough to catch the warm up. It's was so funny that I'm the only one who can spot Beckham from a far. Is he that hard to recognize without his special haircut? Oh ... speaking of haircut, I saw a kid with his famous "chicken cut" and wearing his jersey at the front. See how influential he is?

Some kids were playing in the field during halftime. Oh my god, they were the cutest thing. They were like the miniature toy figure running around the field. They were playing some serious soccer down there as you can see them kicking and knocking people down. Their game was much better than the actual game of the night. Everyone in the crowd were for them.


The game itself was just so-so. The players are really not as good as the other countries. They are not at the international level yet. They really need to take time to practice to sharpen up their skill. They really need to learn from the "international" player on how to lead and set the game to the next level. No doubt on Beckham's skills set, he is still able to perfectly bend the ball the way it should be so that his team can take up the attack, but the game/the players couldn't bring out the best in him. I would love to see him and Landon Donovan partner up, the spark should fly around the stadium. Let's hope both of them will be playing in the match in August

Speaking of which, we really got to see the ticks that the players does in the game. We got to see a "real dive". We were siting at the back so we were able to see the whole diving action. He was really just dropping himself down on the ground and put his feet up. Another one that I saw was the best one. He "fell" down and "claimed" that his elbow got hurt (maybe bumped into the side advertisement board). He actually "rolled" himself back into the field and just dropped dead. Since everyone were in the other side of the field, so no one paid attention to him. So he got up and walked a few steps and he dropped dead again because the action has died down on the other side. The goal keeper finally called on the referee to check on him. They were really "eye-opening" tricks that you won't see on TV.

Final Score: LA 3 - 0 SJ
