成都黃龍九寨溝遊記 Part 1

11/3 香港->成都 - 洛帶古鎮 (Luodai Acient Town)

Luodai Ancient Town has a long history. It is said that it were a street in Han Dynasty, named “Wanjing Street”. 85% above residents in the town are the descendant of Hakka immigrants, mainly from Guangdong, Jiangxi, Hubei and Hunan etc. One thousand years’ culture mingles with the various cultures. In this ancient town, we may see folklore, historic remaining, ancient architecture, and Hakka guildhalls anywhere, in addition to the well-preserved old streets, folk houses of Ming and Qing dynasties, and Golden Dragon Temple etc. In addition, the yearly Water Dragon Festival and Fire Dragon Festival are kinds of special activity Hakka people pass down for several hundred years. Luodai Town is one of first batch of important small towns in China, well-known provincial historic cultural town as well as the biggest one and only Hakka ancient town in west China. Therefore it enjoys a good reputation of “World Luodai, Eonian Hakka”. As one of core auxiliary meeting places of the 20th World Hakka Culture Conference of this year, Luodai’s Hakka culture plays an important role in the world.
