Season 2 of popular KBS drama 'Full House' is in the process of full-scale production.
Park Chang Shik of Kim Jong Hak Production stated on the 30th, "To make season 2 of 'Full House', writer Jo Jong Hwa is already in a full year's work and at present has successfully completed the script until the 3rd episode. We are also considering oversea locations."
The script and the casting of the main characters will be approached at this latter half of the year and the shooting and broadcasting of the show will happen next year. The director is as yet undecided.
Mr. Park said "The 'Full House' drama in 2004 received great love from many viewers and it was so successful as to receive offers from Chinese and South-eastern Asian countries to broadcast it on their television networks." and "If 'Full House' season 2 is just produced well then there is a high possibility that there will be great success not only in Korea but in Asia." It is yet unknown whether Rain and Song Hye Kyo, the main characters in the first season of this drama will be cast.
The KBS drama 'Full House' that aired in 2004 in August was a modern love story based on a sweet comic story and acted out by Rain (Young Jae) with Song Hye Kyo (Ji Eun) who were received as an extremely beautiful couple.

Here comes the confirmation from Korea after the long wait on the news of a sequel from China media, first broke out last year. You better don't disappoint me. A sequel is not a sequel if it's not without the original cast and production team. Yes, Full House will not be Full House without the original Lee Young Jae, the original Han Ji Eun, and the original production team. We have seen way to many failure in the past (MG2 - same cast, different production team).
I don't want to get my hopes too high and get disappointed later. Looks like the 2 of them want to work together again (that's what they said in front of everyone last time), but I don't know if their schedule permits them to do so. I know she wants to make it big on the big screen before returning to the small one. But this could be a way-too-good-to-pass-on opportunity, of course not to mention it could help them to be out of the hidden closet. On the other hand, they might consider this is a step backward on their career as one of them is a soon-to-be Hollywood star and the other one is a critics-love movie star. Not too sure if they both want to dive back into the small screen after all this.
Looks like 2008 will be a busy year for me, 3 on-off screen couples could be/will be back. So far, only 1 pair is making a sequel at the moment , let's hope this pair will do as well. Although the last pair is still unknown (trouble with management company plus copy right issue), but just hope that the project will come through soon (or collab on something else, doesn't need to be a sequel).
