Our Crown Princess has turned into a "man". . Oh no ....
Well, this was actually just a "gimmick" in 커피프린스 1호점(The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince). This was one of the "hit" Kdrama from last year.
Our Crown process has given up her feminine image and worked in a "man-only" environment. The manager of the shop has developed this so-called"BL" relationship and continues to questions his "sexuality". On the other side, she has fallen deeply for him, but couldn't tell him that she is actually a "girl" else she would have lost the job.
The story doesn't have too much on the impact on me mostly because some of the "emotional" point is not as strong as "Goong" does. But this is a "down-to-earth" drama so it's more "realistic".
It's funny that how close friends of our Crown Prince and Crown Princess make fun of them (mixture of Coffee Prince + The Devil and Coffee Prince + Antique Cake Shop).

마왕
Something for a change, finally!!! This is not your ordinary romantic comedy nor cry your eyes out type of drama. 마왕(Mawang, The Devil) is one of those mystery/detective type of drama, which is hard to find in Korea.
Of course, what got be interested was the plot. I love watching mystery/detective story lines. It always gives you the "thrill" on guessing who the killer is. Okay, Okay, I'll admit that another reason is due to our love "prince" is also in the drama. He is shaking off his "prince charming" and turning himself into a "plot setting serial killer" (oops, am I giving away the ending).
This drama is kind of hard to follow if you don't pay attention to the details. It is very complicated when it comes to history of the pictures and the definition of the Tarot cards. I always have to re-watch couple times in order to totally absorb the meaning behind those clues. One thing that I don't believe in is "Seo Hae In" character. First off, I don't believe people with "super" power where he/she can "view left-over images" on the item. Second, I don't believe her character is that important in the story. They just want to add more linkage between the Kang Oh Soo and Oh Seung Ha to make more complicated matters. I love seeing the 2 male leads pulling tricks on each other. I really have to say, Oh Seung Ha does give me the chill sometimes when I see him alone in the dark. He is kind of scary sometimes.
I would recommended you to see this if you like mystery/detective story and tired of those typical drama. This is definitely something that you do not see in Kdrama everyday.

tokidoki x LeSportsac
I have my eyes on tokidoki x LeSportsac for so long. I haven't "action" on it because they are way too expensive. I thought HK will be cheaper, but it turns out it's not (you know, trendy stuff won't be cheap in HK unless they are "out-of-style"). So, I purposely pass by the counter in Macy's whenever I was there; just to "admire" the prints as much as I can. During the long weekend in Feb, Ms S called me and informed me that they are on SALE in Macy's: 25% off. How often will you see that? So I went to the store the next day hoping that they'll have some the print and the bag that I like. It turns out not all the store has 25% off, the discount is only offered in that one store. I have to drive all the way to that particular store. They don't have much left with the latest Winter print. They have some of the older prints but not the one that I like. The only option that I have is the Zucca bag with the Winter print (at least something different, shape wise). The funny thing is that they ran out of the key chain for this year (people steal them all). The only key chain that that is left is the bear from last couple seasons. Oh well, better than nothing ... too bad that they don't have Adios (I need to go find my Adios key chain ...). Applying the Macy's card gives me additional 15% off, so I walk out the door with 40% off total. hahaha ... what a deal. It turns out that it's their last season to have tokidoki with LeSprotsac. Oh man, I should have get more and "fry" them .. lol ...
