I was dragged to a "Chinese baby shower" last night and saw lots of people that I haven't see for ages. Most of them look the same, some look are little older (or younger), but got to catch up on everyone's life,.

To my surprise, it's one of the little girl that I haven't see for more than 13-14 years. Like all other little girls, they all grown up faster than you can want them to. She has all grown up to be like a young lady, with heavy makeup, mature clothing, and 3 inch high heels. While I was snooping around, playing catching up, I found out that she is a mother of 2 children. Her oldest daughter, who look exactly like her when she is young, is 4 years old already. This kind of news is not surprising in society, but I just never thought of it will happen to someone so close by, someone who I practically "grow up" with.
